Greeting
Etegami is a Japanese art of calligraphy with simple drawing and few
words. Most Etegami are drawn on postcards or Washi (Japanese rice
paper) and sent by mail.
When I do Etegami, I take things which are close to my daily life,
look at them, and start drawing with my heart. Then I write a short
message describing what I feel and what I want to say.
Etegami can give us calm, warm and sometime brave heart. Anytime we
can say "Thank you", "what a nice day", and "you can do it!", using
Etegami.
I would like to share with you this beautiful Japanese culture, in
"Keiko's Etegami".
